## Welcome to my blog : )

I'm Kai a recent Haverford College grad whose currently working fulltime as a Software engineer in New York. I'm starting this blog to engage with the parts of computer science and software I love which is systems programming. Hoping to strengthen my foundation outside of AI tooling which i'm building expertise with during my day job 

this will be a slow and delibarte process but I'm really looking forward to it. My first project will be to write a simple http(s) webserver to host my pages here and whatever is to come. In the meantime I will be making use of github pages whcih will likely have my first couple entries. 

As part of this I would like to release on either a weekly or bi-weekly cadence (depending on how much I enjoy :P)

For this first post i'll talk about some of my interest and projects I have in mind at the moment

- Bouldering (hoping to try lead and outdoor climbing soon ... recovering from torn labrum)

this list is not all I have in mind but what I have serialized this far, I'm very interested in learning more about computer graphics as I've had limited exposure preivously (some computational geometry and a small project utilizing OpenGL) and it's really piqued my interests
